FAQ
Can I return my items?
We do not offer refunds on purchases however, if your item is damaged, broken, lost or otherwise messed up, please reach out so we can try and find a solution.
Can my broken jewelry be repaired?
We are not able to repair broken items however, we may be able to provide you with a mate for a single earring if the materials are available. Email us to request this option.
Will you ship overseas?
Everything can be shipped overseas, even the fur goods. It is YOUR responsibility to verify your individual country's restrictions and permissions on importing these and other fur goods. We assume NO responsibility for goods that may be confiscated at the border of the country of import (that's the country the goods are being sent to).
How are the furs sourced?
All of the furs used in our products are sourced from Indigenous trappers in the Yukon. All of those trappers hold a government issued trapping license at the time of harvest and all legal requirements are met for the harvest and sale of the furs. In addition, trappers are interviewed to ensure their cultural and personal ethics and values are in alignment with those of our companies.
What metals are used?
First, there is NO NICKEL in any of the findings used in our jewelry. Materials include a variety of metals such as copper, silver (filled or .925 sterling), stainless steel, yellow/rose gold filled, or silver/gold/gunmetal coloured plated pewter (zinc).
Can I wear fur jewelry if I have a dog/cat allergy?
If you have an allergy to dogs/cats then it's almost certain that you should avoid the lynx, wolf, and fox furs as they are canine/feline species, the remaining furs all come into direct contact with one another and are likely going to bother you.
How do I clean the fur on my jewelry
After several years of research and trial and error, we've developed a proprietary no-rinse cleanser for your fur. We recommend prevention as the best practice for caring for your fur jewelry but pieces with heavy wear can be cleaned with this signature cleaning spray. Because it is a water-based blend, we only ship it during warm months to prevent freezing in transit.
Do you make everything yourself?
Not everything—but everything we offer is chosen with care.
Many of our products, like our Wild Yukon Fur jewelry and hand-painted textiles, are handcrafted in our Whitehorse studio using ethically sourced materials from Indigenous trappers and trusted partners. Other pieces—like some of our handbags and curated accessories—are made by skilled artisans or manufacturers around the world, then finished, branded, or styled in-house.
We’ll always be transparent about what’s handmade, co-crafted, or curated. No matter where a product begins its journey, if it’s part of our collection, it’s because we believe in its quality, purpose, and story.
Where are your products made?
We work with a mix of trusted partners—some local, some international. Many of our products are handcrafted in our Whitehorse studio. Others, like select handbags or accessories, are made by skilled artisans or small factories overseas, including in China. What matters most to us is how something is made, not just where. We choose partners who meet our standards for quality, ethics, and sustainability, and we’ll always be transparent about what’s handmade, co-crafted, or curated.
Are your bags made in Canada?
Our handbags are sourced from trusted manufacturers overseas and finished or branded by hand in our Whitehorse studio. While they aren’t made in Canada, they are carefully selected for their quality, design, and ethical production. We foil stamp or tag each one ourselves and only bring in styles that reflect our brand’s aesthetic and values.
Do you use ethical factories?
Yes. We choose our manufacturing partners carefully and work only with those who align with our values around fair labor, sustainable practices, and high-quality craftsmanship. We don’t believe ethics are tied to geography—what matters is how people are treated and how things are made.
Are your handbags original designs?
Not all of them. Some are exclusive designs we’ve commissioned, and others are curated from manufacturers offering timeless, well-made styles. We choose pieces that align with our aesthetic and brand vision, then brand or finish them in-house. While you may see similar silhouettes elsewhere, we present each piece with our own styling, limited quantities, and a personal touch.
Why are some of your products priced higher than similar ones online?
We price based on the full cost of doing business ethically and sustainably—not just materials. That includes fair wages, local studio labor, custom packaging, import duties, branding, and thoughtful customer experience. Many low-cost online listings don’t reflect those true costs. We stand by our pricing as a reflection of our values, quality, and long-term vision.
